China’s electrolytic manganese metals exports for October fell obviously compared with Aug and Sept. China exported 2,440.2 tons of electrolytic manganese during October, decreasing by 34.8% m-o-m, and 19.7% y-o-y. The total export value of electrolytic manganese declined by 64 % m-o-m to USD6, 298,858.
 
Japan took the first place in importing 1,509.200mt of electrolytic manganese in October, decreasing by 26% m-o-m. The second was South Africa which imported 582mt. In addition, what was different from last month was that Russian and India took the third place and both imported 100mt. Iran was 60mt and other countries were less than 50mt. 
 
At present, China electrolytic manganese price was firm, market participants were unwilling to sell at low price. The current ex-work price for 99.7% electrolytic manganese flake had increased to RMB12,800-13,000/mt (USD2,575-2,625/mt, FOB) in southern China.
