Turkey chrome ore export down by 33% YoY in October

In October 2012, Turkey exported 103,541t of chrome ore, down by 33% compared with the same period of 2011 and 6% compared with the previous month. In October, Turkey exported 95,960t of chrome ore to China and the quantity is about 29% lower than October 2011 and 44% higher than the previous month. China's share in Turkey's export is 92% in October 2012, while in September 2012, the share was only 60% and 88% in October 2011. During Jan-Oct 2012, Turkey exported 1,722,161t of chrome ore totally, down from 1,818,407t in the same period of last year.
