Ukraine’s pig iron exports surge in Nov m-o-m, y-o-y

According to statistics from the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the country’s exports of commercial pig iron totaled around 191,000 tons in November, soaring by 74.6% compared to the preceding month and by 147% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, exports to the US reached approximately 154,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 63%, The delivery to Poland fell by 50.1% month on month to 4,600 tons, and that to Turkey reached 30,000 tons, compared to zero in October.
In the first 11 months of this year, Ukraine’s pig iron exports were 1.16 million tons, a year-on-year drop of 2.2%. Of these, the delivery to the US accounted for 824,200 tons, and that to Turkey was 102,500 tons. Italy received 93,300 tons, and Poland had 61,000 tons.
