US' hot-rolled bar exports increase in Jun m-o-m

According to the United States Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported approximately 30,700 tons of hot-rolled bars in June, increasing by 3.7% from the previous month while dropping by 10.4% yearly. The export value was around US$50 million, compared with US$48.4 million a month ago and US$60.4 million in the same period last year. The US exported the most hot-rolled bars to Mexico in June, totaling about 16,800 tons, compared to 16,000 tons in May and 20,900 tons in June 2023. Another major destination was Canada, which received 11,000 tons.
