US CRC exports increase in Apr m-o-m, y-o-y

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US cold rolled coils (CRC) exports in April totaled about 80,000 tons, up by 16.9% from March and by 26% from April 2023 levels. Regarding value, April CRC exports totaled about US$88.3 million, compared with US$77.7 million last month and US$67.9 million a year ago.
The US exported the most CRC to Mexico in April, about 55,000 tons, compared with 44,000 tons in March and 41,000 tons in April 2023. Other major destinations included Canada at about 16,000 tons. There were no other significant US CRC export destinations (1,000 tons or more) in April.
