China’s social stocks of 5 major steel products in week ending Jun 7 decrease w-o-w

In the week ending on June 7, the inventory of China’s five major steel products was about 12.7 million tons, slightly decreasing by 0.6% from the previous week.
Among them, the social inventory of rebar decreased by 0.09% week on week to about 5.71 million tons. The inventory of wire rods (about 827,000 tons), hot-rolled products (about 3.25 million tons), and cold-rolled products (about 1.47 million tons) decreased by 0.92%, 1.95%, and 0.63% week on week, respectively.
On the contrary, the social inventory of medium-thick plates reached about 1.45 million tons, increasing by 0.66% week on week.
