Ukraine’s crude steel production soars in Nov y-o-y

According to statistics from the Ukrainian steelmakers' association Ukrmetallurgprom, Ukraine produced around 541,000 tons of pig iron in November this year, rising by 5.8% compared to the previous month and by 62% from the same month a year ago. Meanwhile, production of crude steel was down by 4.4% month on month and surged by 74% year on year to approximately 546,000 tons.
In the first 11 months of this year, Ukraine's pig iron output amounted to roughly 5.5 million tons, a year-on-year drop of 11%. Crude steel output during the period dropped by 7.3% year on year to 5.7 million tons.
