IREPAS: Global long product market faces challenges in next quarter

Although the global steel market seems ready to welcome the approaching festival, demand in the market does grow a bit, mainly supported by the rising raw material prices and energy costs.
While buyers showed acceptance towards the price increase gradually since they had no choice, it is still unknown whether the demand and the purchase activities would continue existing in the market.
According to the International Rebar Producers and Exporters Association (IREPAS), the next quarter could be full of challenges to most of the regions except the US, whose downstream interest rate currently remains relatively high.
