Turkey’s section steel exports decrease in Jan-Aug y-o-y

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in the first eight months, Turkey’s section steel exports totaled about 1.03 million tons, decreasing by 13% from the same period a year ago. Meanwhile, the export value totaled US$856 million, a year-on-year decrease of 21%.
Among them, Morocco imported the most of Turkey’s section steel, with about 93,000 tons (decreasing by 7% year on year). Besides, the exports to Egypt, the UAE, the UK, Canada, and Romania were around 81,000 tons, 41,000 tons, 39,000 tons, 36,000 tons, and 35,000 tons, respectively.
