Southeast European crude steel output decreases in Aug m-o-m

According to data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel), in August, Southeast European crude steel production decreased by 26.4% month on month to about 182,000 tons.
From January to August, the crude steel production from Southeast Europe, excluding Bosnia and Moldova, amounted to about 2.08 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 36.4%.
Among them, Serbia was the largest crude steel-producing country, with about 1.02 million tons, decreasing by 13.4% year on year. The second one was Slovenia, with 367,000 tons, decreasing by 17.6% year on year, followed by Bulgaria's 361,000 tons, keeping flat year on year.
