South Korea’s long product output & sales fall in Jan-May y-o-y

According to statistics, South Korea’s long product output totaled 8.55 million tons in the first five months of this year, falling by 7.1% compared to the corresponding period a year earlier. Among them, major products such as rebar and wire rod had a decrease in their production.
During the same period, sales of long products in South Korea amounted to 8.42 million tons, falling by 7% year on year. Among them, rebar sales accounted for nearly 50%.
