India’s KIOCL again shuts down iron ore pellet plant

On July 2, 2023, Indian state-owned iron ore exporter KIOCL again temporarily shut down its iron ore pellet plant in Mangalore, southwestern Karnataka state, for maintenance work.
The company didn’t provide a timeline for the repair and said it will announce as soon as the plant resumes operations.
The iron ore pellet plant has an annual production capacity of 3.5 million tons.
