Russia's scrap steel exports to Belarus increase significantly in Mar y-o-y

According to data from the Russian scrap metal association Ruslom, in March, Russia's scrap exports to Belarus increased by 24% year on year to about 94,000 tons.
In the first three months, the exports reached 287,000 tons, hiking by double from the same period of last year. Meanwhile, shipments to countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) were 129,000 tons, growing by 39% year on year.
In the first quarter, Russian scrap consumption went down by 16% year on year to 4 million tons.
