Tata Steel’s crude steel production hits new high in FY23

Tata Steel, a leading steel producer in India, achieved the highest ever annual crude steel production of 19.88 million tons and highest ever deliveries of 18.87 million tons in the fiscal year 2023.
During the period, Tata Steel’s consolidated revenue was INR 243,353 crore, keeping stable compared to the previous year. The consolidated EBITDA was INR 32,698 crore, and the after-tax consolidated profit was INR 8,075 crore.
In the fourth quarter, Tata Steel’s deliveries have strong momentum, growing by 9% quarter on quarter to 5.15 million tons.
Tata Steel said that the company’s core strategy is sustainability. It has targeted to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.
