In January-March, Ukraine exported 40.255 thousand tons of scrap, up 5.7-fold YoY.
According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports amounted to $11.725 million.
The main customer was Poland (96.65%) with 1.31% exported to the Netherlands and 0.95% to Slovakia.
In January-February, Ukraine did not import scrap, but in March bought 46 tons for $16 thousand from Slovakia.
