According to the report, the international financial market was turbulent in March and downstream demand weakened, descending order volumes. Meanwhile, the international nickel price has been adjusted recently. Among them, the Taiwanese stainless steel prices of domestic stainless steel mills Yieh United Steel Corp.(YUSCO), Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., and Walsin Lihwa Co., Ltd. were also affected in April.
YUSCO said that some buyers slightly postponed the purchase progress due to risk considerations, European and American customers began to recover, and Chinese steel mills continued to reduce production in March and April, which is expected to help stabilize the market.
