In January 2023, the total export volume of South Africa's chrome ore was 1.348 million tons, with a month-on-month increase of 26.3% and a year-on-year increase of 2.2%. Among them, 611,000 tons of chrome ore exported to China increased by 7.4% month-on-month and decreased by 10% year-on-year. The chrome ore exported to Mozambique was 575,000 tons, up 35.8% month-on-month and up 25.3% year-on-year.
