Baosteel hikes base prices of steel products for Mar

China’s Baoshan Iron & Steel (Baosteel) announced its new prices for March, with increases similar to the price adjustment of Anshan Iron and Steel Group and Benxi Steel Group.
According to the price adjustment, the base price of galvalume, high aluminum zinc aluminum magnesium, medium aluminum zinc aluminum magnesium, and color-coated steel was up by CNY 100/ton, that of hot-rolled steel, cold-rolled steel, pickled steel, hot-dip galvanized, low aluminum zinc aluminum magnesium, and electro-galvanized steel was increased by CNY 200/ton, and that of heavy plate and non-oriented silicon steel for medium and low grades was hiked by CNY 300/ton. The base price of oriented silicon steel remained unchanged.
Besides, there are additional special surcharges for molybdenum alloys for some products.
