Outokumpu, a leading stainless steel manufacturer in Europe, reported that its net profit was EUR 312 million in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to a net profit of EUR 150 million in the fourth quarter of last year and a net profit of EUR 207 million in the previous quarter.
During the period, the company’s adjusted EBITDA was EUR 110 million, compared to EUR 312 million in the same quarter of 2021 and EUR 304 million in the previous quarter. The sales revenue was EUR 1.895 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, dropping from EUR 2.083 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021 and also decreasing from EUR 2.339 billion in the third quarter of last year.
In 2022, Outokumpu’s net profit totaled EUR 1.086 billion, compared to a net profit of EUR 526 million in 2021. The company’s adjusted EBITDA was EUR 1.256 billion, up from EUR 980 million in 2021; the sales revenues hiked from EUR 7.243 billion in 2021, reaching EUR 9.494 billion.
