According to a notice from Dubai Customs, the UAE extended its import duties on rebar and wire rod, so the duties will continue to be effective until November 7, 2023.
The import duties on rebar and wire rod were increased to 10% from 5%, effective on January 1, 2019, and applied to all UAE's ports.
The products involved are classified under HS codes 72131000, 72132000, 72139100, 72139900, 72141010, 72141020, 72141090, 72142010, 72142020, 72142090, 72143010, 72143020, and 72143090.
