Vale produced 179,500 tons of nickel in 2022

Vale released its production report for the fourth quarter of 2022. In the fourth quarter of 2022, the company produced 47,300 metal tons of nickel, a decrease of 8.69%, including 24,200 tons of refined nickel, 5,100 metal tons of ferronickel and 18,000 metal tons of intermediate nickel. In 2022, the annual nickel output reached 179,500 metal tons, with a year-on-year increase of 6.63%, including 92,000 tons of refined nickel, 23,600 tons of ferronickel and 63,900 tons of intermediate nickel.
