On December 9, the total inventory of chrome ore in China's ports was 2.525 million tons, up 125,000 tons weekly. Among them, the inventory of chrome ore of South Africa was 2.099 million tons, accounting for 83% of the total inventory, up 1% from last week. The inventory of chrome ore of South Africa in Tianjin Port was 1.398 million tons, accounting for 86% of the inventory in Tianjin Port, up 3% from last week. During the week, due to the arrival of large ships in the market, the inventory in the northern China market increased significantly. The proportion of chrome ore inventory of South Africa remained high, while that of other mainstream ores remained low. The demand of the downstream market is good, traders and foreign investors keep firm about the offers. And the market price of chrome ore is relatively strong in the short term.
