The LME nickel prices kept steady yesterday (September 7), settling at the US$21,500/ton level.
Due to weak market demand and the strengthening US dollar, nickel prices continued to rise in a stable trend.
Besides, nickel inventories have slid to a 12-and-a-half-year low, China’s stainless steel prices have surged, and market demand was expected to grow further, driving nickel prices to rise again and keep in a volatile trend for the short term.
