India’s NALCO reports growth in net profit in Q1 FY23

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), an Indian state-owned aluminum giant, reported that its consolidated net profit totaled Rs 557.91 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023, up by 60.6% compared to the same period a year ago. The net sales reached Rs 3783.32 crore during the period, a year-on-year increase of 52.9%.
Among them, the revenue from the aluminum sector amounted to Rs 2,980 crore, hiking by 71.5% compared to the corresponding period a year earlier.
