According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey’s seamless pipe imports totaled around 156,000 tons for the first four months of this year, increasing by 69% year on year. The import value was around US$264 million, soaring by over two times year on year.
Among them, imports from Italy amounted to nearly 51,000 tons, soaring by 1853.8% year on year, followed by China (around 47,000 tons), Russia (around 23,000 tons), and Ukraine (around 7,000 tons).
