Companhia de Ferro Ligas da Bahia (Ferbasa), a ferroalloy producer in Brazil, reported that its net profit reached R$236.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, surging by nearly 531% compared to the same period a year ago.
During the given period, the net income was R$682.2 million, a year-on-year increase of 47.1%. The adjusted EBITDA was R$314.1 million, up by 215.4% year on year. The EBITDA margin had a year-on-year increase of 24.5%, reaching 46%.
