The British government decided to impose 35% tariffs on the worth £900 million commodities imported from Russia, including vodka, fertilizers, steel, aluminum, copper, and other metals, while it also suspended export financing to both Russia and Belarus.
Besides, the UK denied Russia and Belarus access to the most favored nation tariffs of the World Trade Organization (WTO) membership, so the tariffs will no longer apply to hundreds of products from these two countries.
