China’s crude steel production falls in Jan-Feb y-o-y

According to statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, China produced around 158 million tons of crude steel in the first two months of this year, sliding by 10% compared to the same period a year ago.
During the period, China’s pig iron and finished steel production totaled approximately 132.1 million tons and 197 million tons, falling by 10.8% and 6% year on year, respectively.
