Sergey Mocharnikov, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation and Fuel Market Development of the Russian Ministry of Energy, said that Russia and China are developing an agreement on the coal supply.
Russia is planning to expand its coal supply to China to 100 million tons in three to five years from 2021’s 52 million tons.
As a big consumer of energy, China has a strong demand for coal. Mochalnikov said that consumers should receive as much coal as they required in the coming future.
