India’s JSW Steel posts higher crude steel production in Jan

JSW Steel, a leading steel manufacturer in India, reported that its crude steel production totaled 1.65 million tons in January this year, up by 8% compared to the previous month and also rising by 15% from the same month a year ago. The increase was due to the expansion at its Dolvi plant in Maharashtra.
JSW Steel's expansion project of its Dolvi plant started the commercial operations last November, which doubled the plant's annual production capacity to 10 million tons.
