Ardea Resources expands scale of nickel-cobalt project in Western Australia

Ardea Resources, an Australia-based exploration and development company, said it has expanded the scale of its Goongarrie Hub nickel-cobalt project in Western Australia by nearly 50% to 3.5 million tons per year and reduced carbon emissions by increasing the atmospheric leach circuit.
The company is doing a definitive feasibility study to evaluate the amount of its multi-deposit nickel and cobalt laterite resources at the Kalgoorlie project, which is one of the largest nickel-cobalt resources in the world.
Ardea Resources cooperated with all state and federal statutory bodies to promote the development of the downstream battery industry in Western Australia, and the raw materials, including nickel and cobalt, could be obtained.
