Global primary aluminum production slides in Dec 2021 y-o-y

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production amounted to 5.622 million tons in December 2021, falling by 1.25% compared to the same month a year earlier. The average daily output was 181,400 tons.
Among them, the production of primary aluminum from China was down by 3.3% year on year to 3.192 million tons.
