Turkey's seamless pipe imports hike in Jan-Oct y-o-y

According to statistics from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's imported around 263,000 tons of seamless pipes in the first ten months of this year, hiking by 21.5% compared to the same period a year ago.
Due to the rising global steel prices, the import value rose greatly by 41% year on year, reaching approximately US$362 million.
Among the imports in the January-October period, the imports from China accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 79,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 27%. Russia ranked second with roughly 55,000 tons, up by 71% year on year; followed by Ukraine’s 50,300 tons, which doubled compared to the corresponding period of last year.
