Copper market stays in 57,000-ton deficit in Sep

According to the International Copper Study Group (ICSG), the global refined copper market stayed at a 57,000-ton deficit in September, compared to a surplus of 56,000 tons in the previous month.
Global refined copper output in September was roughly 2.1 million tons, and global copper consumption reached roughly 2.12 million tons.
In the first nine months of the year, the copper market was in a 161,000-ton deficit. While in the same period of time of the previous year, the copper market was in a 239,000-ton deficit.
