South Korean aluminium imports rose on both a month-on-month and year-on-year basis in October, according to data released by the Korea Customs Service last week.
South Korea imported a total of 246,662 tonnes of aluminium last month, an increase of 4,297 tonnes (1.8%) from 242,365 tonnes in September and up by 9.4% from October 2020.
Imports include unwrought and wrought aluminium and aluminium waste and scrap.
