European stainless steel scrap purchase to keep stable

According to the Italian trade association Assofermet, despite the comping Christmas holiday, the demand for European stainless steel scrap was expected to be good, and the purchase volume will maintain stable this month. However, the prices might be affected by some factors such as LME nickel futures and the global COVID-19 epidemic. The association said that the demand for stainless steel scrap from stainless steel mills was strong. Due to the similar prices between Italy and other European countries, the import activities into the Italian market had been avoided.
