Facor produced 19,000 tons of ferrochrome in the third quarter of 2021

Vedanta company of India announced that its ferroalloy subsidiary Facor produced 19,000 tons of ferrochrome in the third quarter of 2021, and the productivity of the plant increased by 10%. Although the output of chrome ore sand decreased due to the monsoon, the output of ferrochrome remained stable. Facor plans to put another idle furnace into use. It is expected that the annual capacity will increase by 60,000 tons, with a total annual capacity of 135,000 tons.
