Rio Tinto's iron ore output at Pilbara operations falls in Q2 q-o-q, y-o-y

According to a report released by Rio Tinto, the iron ore output at its Pilbara operations totaled around 75.9 million tons in the second quarter of this year, falling by 1% compared to the previous quarter and also sliding by 9% from the same period a year ago.
During the reporting period, Rio Tinto's iron ore shipment at the Pilbara operations reached around 76.3 million tons, a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 2% and a year-on-year drop of 12%.
In the first half of this year, Rio Tinto's iron ore output had a year-on-year reduction of 5% to 152.3 million tons, and the shipment was down by 3% year on year to 154.1 million tons.
