India not to impose AD duties on copper & copper alloy flat rolled products from 6 countries

On July 2, 2021, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that the Department of Revenue of the Ministry of Finance didn’t accept the decision made by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on April 16, 2021, deciding not to impose anti-dumping (AD) duties on copper and copper alloy flat rolled products originating in or imported from China, South Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
The original AD investigation was launched on April 20, 2020 by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry, based on an application submitted by the domestic company Agrawal Metal Works Private Limited.
The products involved are under HS codes 7409 and 7410.
