It was reported that Pakistan's import prices of scrap increased after the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. However, due to Ramadan, the recent market has been in an inactive condition.
Despite the current plain demand for finished products, steel mills expected that the demand will become better before the rainy season, which will drive the scrap market, while some market participants are taking a wait-and-see attitude.
