Turkey's rebar exports rise in Mar y-o-y

According to statistics from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey’s rebar exports totaled around 619,000 tons in March, rising by 10.4% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 19.3% from the same period a year ago.
The export value was roughly US$347.8 million during the period, a month-on-month hike of 21.1% and a year-on-year increase of nearly 57%.
In the first quarter of this year, Turkey exported a total of roughly 1.7 million tons of rebar, up by 8% year on year. The export value had a year-on-year growth of 32.2% to roughly US$877.4 million.
