Taiwan province’s Yieh Phui & Sheng Yu Steel hike coated steel prices for Apr

Yieh Phui Enterprise Co. and Sheng Yu Steel Co., Ltd., two leading coating steel mills in Taiwan province,China, announced to hike their prices of coated steel products by NT$500-700/ton.
According to the price announcement, Yieh Phui raised its coated steel price by NT$700/ton for domestic sales, and prices for exports were up by a base of US$30-40/ton, depending on different regions and products.
Sheng Yu Steel hiked its galvanized and color-coated steel products prices by NT$500-700/tons, respectively, based on the type of products.
The adjustment in their prices was driven by the April price increases of the upstream suppliers, China Steel Corporation (CSC) and Chung Hung Steel Corporation (CHSC).
