Vietnam's ferrous scrap imports slide in Feb m-o-m

According to statistics from Vietnam Customs, the country imported around 383,000 tons of ferrous scrap in February, dropping by 7.3% compared to the previous month, due to lower purchases on high scrap prices.
Among them, Japan was still the main scrap source for Vietnam, the only supplier with a month-on-month increase among all other suppliers.
Due to the increased demand for scrap and finished steel products, global scrap prices have performed strongly since November 2020.
