The outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020 has a far-reaching impact on the global economy, and its development speed and economic damage are beyond expectations. According to the statistics of the customs, China’s total import volume of chrome ore from January to June 2020 was about 6.8569 million tons. Among them, cumulative imports of South Africa's chrome ore was 5.704 million tons, accounting for 83.19%, and imports of Turkey's chrome ore was 273,000 tons, accounting for 3.98%, the imports of Oman's chrome ore was 178,300 tons, accounting for 2.6%, and the imports of Zimbabwe's chrome ore was 219,100 tons, accounting for 3.2%.
