Russia's scrap exports rise in January

According to statistics, Russia’s scrap exports totaled 248,000 tonnes in January, soaring by 24.2% YoY but slumping by 46.3% from a month ago.

In January, Turkey was the largest importer of the Russian scraps with 132,000 tonnes jumping by 47%; Spain was the second largest one with 53,000 tonnes soaring by 130.7% and South Korea was the third largest one with 37,000 tonnes increasing by 19.5%, all compared to those in the same month of a year ago.
