In 2023, Ukraine increased metal consumption by 20% YoY.
The growth was mostly due to the activation of state projects – restoration of infrastructure, bridges and viaducts, construction of energy shelters. There are also such projects, as, for example, an underground school in Kharkiv.
Imports also increased, especially sheets.
In March-November 2023, prices for rolled metal decreased.
This year, prices are expected to grow.
