Kenmare Resources PLC said Thursday that it met production guidance for ilmenite and primary zircon in 2021.
The owner of the Moma titanium-minerals mine in Mozambique said 2021 ilmenite production was up 48% on year to 1.1 million tons. Primary zircon production for the year was 56,300 tons, up 30% on year.
For 2022, Kenmare's ilmenite production guidance range is 1.1 million tons to 1.2 million tons. Its guidance range for primary zircon is 54,400 to 63,200 tons.
